Bright colors were so refreshing to see at High Point. It felt so alive with the colors of spring! I am a firm believer that bright colors in a home are both daring (look at those hot pink chairs from Stanley above, on paper it sounds a bit off-beat but look how gorgeous they are, especially next to the teal sofa) and fun! Pops of bright colors are a perfect way to think outside the box when decorating your home.
Here are some of my favorite bright pieces!
Sometimes less is more! A room with a white palette is an easy canvas to splash color on with fun pillows, draperies, or other fun adornments like the ones above. Painting a stone fireplace a solid white (or any color!) to match the rest of the room is a tried-and-true designer’s secret, and I love it.
Zebra print against a solid green wall? Even without going into how gorgeous the detailing and finish of the base of this chair is, I am already saying “Yes, please!”
Another great piece out of the Chaddock showroom. What a fun color for a chair!
There go my team colors! The black and gold coffee table and pillows paired with the cream couch is gorgeous enough (and certainly makes a statement of elegance), but throw in a fun green pillow and some bright pink orchids and I can’t help but say wow.
I take one look at this bright, fun showroom from Century Furniture and I all I can say is, “Hello, beach house!” The pinks, oranges, reds, and blues almost make you feel as though you can hear the ocean from your window. Always a favorite of mine, Century really delivered in my search for bright showrooms.
Okay, I have to admit, I just immediately felt attracted to rooms with bright green walls. Earthy tones are always so welcoming and warming to me–always a great option for a color scheme of your home! Anyway, looking past the wall, how absolutely gorgeous is this sunburst mirror from Wildwood? Far and away something I would want to use when decorating a home!
This showroom from Hickory Chair blew me away! Matching your pops of accent to your wall color is a great attention to detail and is a great way to tie a room together, especially one with such a bright and wonderful color like this.
Another great piece from Hickory Chair… and a bonus dog!
It seems like my folders of photos from High Point is never ending! What do you all think so far? Any styles that have peaked your interest?
